We have recently been working with a customer who wanted us to design and make a bespoke dress ring for his wife’s birthday. The customer already had 29 small princess cut diamonds from an old diamond ring.
The customer decided he wanted to incorporate sapphires with the princess cut diamonds is a crossover ring style. Using the original princess cut diamonds with blue sapphires we put together some design layouts of the bespoke diamond ring and sent them to the customer.
The Bespoke Ring Designs
With a few changes the customer decided to opt for the three cross over bands – two with just the princess cut diamonds channel set and one row with the rest of the princess cut diamonds mixed with blue square sapphires also channel set and crossed over the top of the ring.
The finished Bespoke Diamond Dress Ring
The bespoke ring was made from 18 carat white gold and features 29 princess cut diamonds totalling 2.72 carats with ten blue square sapphires totalling 0.50 pts.
